Born and raised in Toronto, Canada he is now firing up Auckland, New Zealand. Robert Berkowski, better known as “Berkie,” has turned a lifelong passion for food, hospitality and creating unforgettable moments into a bold mission: teach, inspire, and bring people together around great barbecue.

Berkie is about technique, patience and the confidence that comes from learning to control smoke, fire and flavour.
